A Serious Man (Coen Brothers, 2009)
Coen Brothers are very smart guys. they start a movie as a short story to show whole plot this movie. they usually use this function. like in Miller's Crossing too. no matter what Larry Gopnik (Main Character) try to get answer why these misfortune swoop himself. he can't get answer he wants. even though he visted three rabbi. (First young rabbi is Simon Helberg. he appeared as a role of Howard Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory that my favorite comedy drama. It's so funny. you didn't see it until now. you better!) he needs answer really. because he's a physics professor. in his world, every results are brought by causes. there isn't any causes. wife's just sick of him. his son just bother him for asking repair the tv. and his younger brother problem, asia student's bribe problem, his own territory problem and so on.. there is nothing clear reasons for these events. It's just It. yes It is. this whole situation makes you laugh. he's trying to get answer to solve this problem. despite there are not answer. maybe Coen Brothers want to tell us "What's Life? What's God Telling Us?". the answer is no answer. If god really exists he will see us like 'Larry Gopnik' and he will LOL. our whole life maybe a black comedy movie like this movie.
postscript 1) Coen Brothers made this story taking notice of Job's Story of The Bible.
postscript 2) Mother Fucker's hugging became The Brothers' Cliche. see under the still shot of Barton Pink. another classic of Coen Brothers. oh. maybe It could be a father of A Serious Man!
